Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a multilingual, web-based, free content encyclopedia project written collaboratively by volunteers from around the world. It is a special type of website, called a wiki which makes collaboration easy. Many people are constantly improving Wikipedia, making thousands of changes an hour, all of which are recorded on article histories and recent changes. With rare exceptions, its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet.

Wikipedia says that a reader should not be afraid to edit. I think Wikipedia is one of the best information sources on the Internet but the fact that anyone can edit almost any page and Wikipedia encourages readers to “ be bold!” in editing, I have to be afraid that the information I'm reading is not necessarily the must trustworthy and reliable. While there are a lot of geniuses out there, there are also a lot of idiots!
