Last week I went to BailiTeal Farm Retreat Center in Fruitvale, Texas, for a scrapbooking retreat with my stamp club. BailiTeal was a fantastic experience! The owners and hosts, Wanda and Jerry Hickman, are so friendly and have thought of everything a scrapbooker needs to have a wonderful get away. The food was INCREDIBLE! All our meals were provided and every one was delicious. The fresh fruits and vegetables were unlike anything I've ever tasted. After all these years, I guess this city girl had never really tasted a farm grown fresh tomato and it was so good! Everything was clean and I enjoyed my stay. My stamp club went last year and kept talking about it and now I see why! We can't wait to go back again next year!!Once I got to BailiTeal, I didn't leave the property but, on the way home, I did stop by quaint store called Calico Chocolates in Grand Saline, Texas. The chocolate was great so if you are nearby don't miss a stop at this wonderful shop!
