My husband and I recently took 2 cooking classes at Central Market which were taught by David Lebovitz and which revolved around ice cream. David has a new cookbook out called The Perfect Scoop and it's fantastic!
Our favorite recipe was Olive Oil Ice Cream. Yes, who knew that olive oil ice cream could be so scrumdelicious! If I had seen it on a menu, I would have probably never ordered it but now that I've tried it I'm inspired to actually break out my ice cream maker and make it. David served the Olive Oil Ice Cream with a delicious chocolate cake and the combination was really perfect!
